"Hilarity and Stupidity"
I have two things on my mind, this week. One is about hilarity - the other about stupidity.
As if the circus of the Republicans choosing a candidate for the next U.S. president weren't funny enough, now the all-time big-top ringmaster enters the center ring - again.
Cracking his whip and shouting at everyone within earshot, that loose cannon, Donald (the famed hair stylist, petulant child and bully) Trump stomps out to take over and bring order! ROTFLMAO
How's he ever going to shut that big mouth long enough to let the rest of them continue their pit bull fight? He isn't, of course. 'Cause, as the head freak, he'll be too busy making the grasshoppers jump out of their legs!
One thing's for sure - it's going to be hilarious. I can barely write this for laughing just thinking about it! Can you even imagine what folks in other countries must think of this debacle? It's Saturday morning cartoons!
I do try to keep this newsletter from being completely partisan, but these clowns just won't let me do it. So, for those of you I'm pissing off, rest assured, I would be writing the exact same things if these were Democrats, Libertarians or even Independents!
'Nuf said.
On to Stupidity ...
I'm getting sick and tired of the fight over whether, or not, global warming is man-made. What the hell difference does it make?
No one seems to deny it exists. Well, except maybe during the occasional cold snap when a few morons like to say, "Global warming, my arse!"
Never mind that the average temperature of the planet goes up every year. Never mind that our ecology is being destroyed - that our wildlife, needed for the ecological balance, is dying out. Never mind that we are using our natural resources at a rate that outpaces life!
And, that's my point. Scientific fact shows that global warming exists. So, why are the jack-legs in Congress arguing about why it's happening?
Who the hell cares if it's man-made or a natural weather cycle of the planet?
It's obvious humans are, at the very least, adding to the problem. And, since this is where our lives are, it seems reasonable to me that we have to make adjustments. Mother Nature ain't gonna do it!
So, while these geniuses are sitting around arguing about the cause, the problem grows worse!
Since we know the solutions are going to affect certain money-mongers, this never-ending argument keeps them from acting. And, the worst part it ... the general public buys into it and it's fight ON!
They must sit up in D.C. and laugh their butts off at the stupidity of the sheeple. And, I'm left wondering why these brilliant minds can't figure out how to make the money they so love by saving our planet rather than destroying it!
Just sayin' ...

Government Stupidity
Global warming is a fact. The cause is irrelevant, the issue should be how to stop it and or reverse it. Period. Humans have become a parasite to this planet. I believe that some of the weather we've been having is the planet trying to shake us off. At the very least the population is decreased with every disaster.
Politicians are not real people. They go to law school to learn how to legally lie, cheat and steal. Republicans are the best at this. Read any history book. FDR helped this country get back on its feet and he was no republican. Bill Clinton ended his presidency with a monetary surplus; again, he was no republican. I have never voted republican and with today's line up there is absolutely no reason to start.
What are these greed-heads thinking when they refuse to tax the 1%.? My son is a part of Occupy Denver and I am very proud of him for it.

Donald Trump the Jokester (Jester)
Hello jl!
Only two candidates have agreed to show up for the Trump debate which if aired will probably end up being an in-depth interview plus a great arena for promoting Donald's latest book. I doubt whether the debate will be televised but if so, it will provide the two Republican candidates another opportunity to get their message out...if they can interrupt moderator Trump! So often when Trump hints and teases us that he may throw his hat into the political ring, I am reminded of Lee Iacco's answer when asked if he would consider running for President ..."Hell No! It's apples and oranges saving a business and saving a country!"
Should we remind Trump of the Peter Principle or should we let him continue promoting himself to the level of incompetence?
Donald Trump
Oh, I'm so SORRY to hear this. I must have missed the latest on the invitations.
But, I was SO looking forward to those characters lining up led by the Head Clown!
I read it was to be televised on the ION channel.

Money in Politics
The Climate Change topic is definitely in the ranks of major stupidity by the leaders of many countries -- with the good 'ole USA leading the pack. Shoot, as long as the fossil fuel money is financing most political elections they'll never vote to do anything to discourage increasing our use of this form of energy.
I firmly believe there is no other topic more important to our lives. If we keep messing with our climate, all these other concerns won't matter a bit -- including getting reelected!!
Peace ...
